Karlen Reed is a regulatory counsel with NTCA, representing NTCA’s over 585 small rural telecommunications companies across the U.S. before the FCC and federal courts. Prior to joining NTCA, Reed was an assistant attorney general with the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General where she specialized in telecommunications regulatory and enforcement issues. She also served as a hearing officer with the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Cable, as a wireless co-location consultant, and as an assistant clerk to the Nevada Supreme Court. Reed received her undergraduate degree from Montana State University, her J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law, and her M.P.A. from the University of Nevada Reno. She is a steering committee member of the New England Chapter of the Federal Communications Bar Association and member of the American Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and the Montana State Bar Association.
